River within the next 7 days.
River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a
* Flood Warning for
The Mississippi River at La Crosse.
* from late Sunday night until further notice.
* At  9:15 AM Saturday the stage was 11.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Monday morning and continue to
rise to near 13.8 feet by Saturday morning. Additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 13.5 feet...Water goes over the road in the 600 block of
Shore Acres Road.

If you live in a threatened area, be alert for high or rising water,
and be ready to move to higher ground if necessary.
Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

Mississippi River at Alma Dam 4...The stage this morning was 10.46
feet. Flood stage is 16.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.60
feet by next Saturday morning, with additional rises expected
Mississippi River at Lansing...The stage this morning was 13.98 feet.
Flood stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 15.90 feet
by next Saturday morning, with additional rises expected thereafter.
